Westford House

My father was transferred to the Westford house in his last week. Immediately upon transferring, he told me “I feel at peace here”. The Westford house and staff made my father feel comfortable and cared for in his battle against cancer. They offered a tranquil place for him to find peace, and they did as much as possible to accommodate our family. We could tell the entire staff cared about our experience; on the first night, someone brought two meals in - we told them my father couldn’t eat solids, but they insisted the meals were for my wife and I. In a whirlwind week, I’ve forgotten all the names, but we especially want to highlight the excellent staff who helped in our difficult time. My mother recently transferred to Westford House from another long term care facility. Definitely a step up from the previous facility. My mom is happy there. The staff is pleasant and seem to care about her. I always receive prompt emails and phone calls when I reach out. Overall, pleasantly surprised with Westford House.

The staff overall are wonderful they really do care about the residents. We had a water leak late one evening and our maintenance person Peter Jones came and took care of it in no time we so appreciate his hard work and keeping our spaces clean and safe

I wonder if the management has changed, because when my mother was there two years ago it seemed like a pretty horrible place. The food was disgusting, help was scarce, and my mother had a loud, obnoxious roommate that kept multiple devices blaring, and required having her impacted bowels cleaned out by staff while mom was feet away. That's not considerate at all.

I stayed at the Westford House for Physical Therapy. Peter within the maintenance department was very helpful and kind when I worked with him, the call button was malfunctioning in my room. He fixed it!
