I am from Mainland, and health care is different, so a different experience than I'm used to for urgent care, and also regular care. Marc-Jason is not only the best doctor I have ever had, but also, you can tell he REALLY cares! He actually takes the time to listen to you, find the best path that will actually help, most doctors just want money and don't care about you as a person . Marc-Jason wants to make sure you never leave wondering if you are on the right path. And you will feel great after every single visit. I don't know how he does it, other than his passion and Humanism, because he truly gives everything he has to make other people's lives better. Wish I could do no stars. Some of their staff are incompetent. I applied for a sliding fee and they told me I passed for a week of till 11/11/25 coverage cause I have no insurance or job. They told me make a appointment for the Doctor next day(didn't know why they didn't just see me on the walk in?). 3 weeks they send me bill for $800. Called found out through a mailed letter that they denied me cause they included my wife's income and they charged me for 2 visits. What a rip off just to refill my BP medication. If i knew my application was denied from the beginning i wouldn't have continued my visit. Not happy with this organization, more like lack of organization. Minute clinics are better.

If you have an appointment around 1 pm, don't waste your time; come early, just be there at 1 pm, because they will put a sign up and the door will be closed.

Receptionists and phone operators are very friendly and helpful when directing your call to the right people and department. They can send you directly to front desks or to the nurses working. Unfortunately where this clinic lacks is in its capacity to effect true change through their services. Overall your visits with the nurses and MDs may feel rushed and haphazard. Its not that what youre dealing with isnt important, its the volume of patients being pumped through. This center along with the other Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Centers in this little system are overwhelmed and strapped for West side resources. Both of my children are see Dr. Salazar who's an amazing pediatrician . I called today to get myself established with new PCP. I was having some obstacles with my insurance that I was trying to work through to get a prior authorization on an my inhaler and Marlene was so helpful. She went above and beyond and took the time to try all options available to try to get this resolved so I could get my inhaler asap. I really appreciated her diligence and the level of care she showed. I would definitely recommend this doctor's office to anyone looking for excellent, caring providers and staff.
