West End Pediatric Urgent Care

I had an excellent experience here at West End Pediatric Urgent care. I’m from out of town and this is the first pediatric urgent care that popped up when I went to go look one up and I am so glad that I decided to go here. Everyone was very welcoming, the office was kid friendly, if I was from Rochester I would definitely take my kids here. My son needed IV fluids and it was so nice that they offered it there because most places I know did not. The nurses were so nice and the NP was so supportive and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate if you’re debating on taking your kids here. I promise you won’t regret it!

I’ve been to this urgent care several times with my kids and they have been fabulous every single time. One time I had to take my 18 month old in for stitches which is obviously a stressful situation and they did such a great job making him feel as comfortable as possible and doing it as quickly as possible. Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen here and they are always very friendly and knowledgeable. They also give out popsicles which is a nice touch when kiddos aren’t feeling well. Highly recommend!

I didnt have a bad experience but the staff dont seem to kid friendly. I'm a 1st time mom so just going to urgent care is scary. After leaving I received a call that my son was positive for RSV, the lady on the phone didnt give any additional information as to what to do next, what to monitor, when should I be concerned and seek emergency care. Thank God for google!! I did call back and spoke with the NP and he gave me reassurance. The location is close so its convenient, I love that. Also, im not a fan of the waiting area. Please just get some regular chairs.

I brought my son into the urgent care on Monday night. He hurt himself at wrestling practice and we were able to get in quickly. The woman at the check in desk was very nice and efficient, the xray tech was great and gave clear instructions. We saw Jessica while we were there and she was great at talking to us about next steps for his broken thumb. We left with him in a brace. All said and done we were there for about 45 mins to an hour. We followed up with ortho the next day and they had our X-rays already. It was a seamless process from beginning to end.

Awesome! I spent $400 for my child at two separate other urgent care facilities for them to do absolutely nothing. Finally, at the recommendation of a friend, I took my daughter to West End pediatric urgent care. They determined that she not only had mono but an infection in her lymph node, prescribed her an antibiotic and she was better in a few days. God bless them all! The staff is lovely, the nurses are wonderful, and they don’t make you feel stupid for bringing your sick child to see them. Ten stars!
