Wellstar Endocrinology

I have been a patient for a year, and my experience has been a mixed bag. My initial two visits in late fall of November 2024 were excellent---empathy, compassion, thorough testing to find out why I had an early onset osteoporosis, and a thoughtful game plan to treat my osteoporosis. However, I began having difficulty in late spring when I thought I might need a X-ray for a possible new compression fracture. All I asked for was an order for a simple X-ray, and instead, I was told I have to return to the orthopedic doctor at Kennestone, which then involved phone tag between his office and theirs for a referral. Long story short, I got bounced between both doctors and never got an X-ray order, so I ended up getting the X-ray through my PCP with another health group outside of Wellstar.

The staff and doctors have been super nice with lots of clarity/communication as to what’s happening inside and also their plan to help me.

First class facility and health care providers. Very knowledgeable and professional service. NP Eileen Berkovich is very thorough and really cares about the wellness of her patients.

I had not met with Eileen before today but my wife and were very impressed by her approach and thoroughness!

I just met Dr. Miragaya today and was very pleased with her. If you have to go to a doctor, you want them to be like her! It was a pleasure.
