Northside Family Medicine and Urgent Care - Holly Springs

Unfortunately we had to come to this Urgent Care just a few days after Christmas. For a Saturday night, just after a holiday, it was empty. They waiting room was clean and they saw us in record time (even processing paperwork and payment before being seen was quick). We were brought back to a clean room and the RN confirmed the reason for the visit, RXs on the check in paperwork, and did some quick vitals. Dr. Patel saw us moments later. He quickly assessed everything and were given an RX for (MUCH NEEDED) antibiotics and a shot for pain. Since it was late (after 8pm) they even gave us several pharmacies that were still open. Could not recommend more. The facility was clean, quick and everyone was very kind.

I highly recommend this location for Urgent Care. Tracey the Front desk manager was very helpful in getting me checked in. I was able to book my appointment Online and ended up showing up a little early. They took care of my testing I needed and was quickly seen by Dr. Jago. He is super nice and they got my prescriptions called into my pharmacy and I was home pretty quickly. I believe the nurse’s name was Kayla and she was fantastic. She really helped calm my nerves and eased my mind. I am thankful we have a great option close by for care on the weekend.

Nurse practitioner read an ECG wrong for the patient’s age (as told to us by the ER doctor) and they will not take responsibility. Sent to emergency for nothing and out many thousands of dollars. Gaslit and lectured by Northside Urgent Care Holly Springs manager. She felt we should just be glad that our relative is fine and to stop complaining. A member of the discharge staff at Northside Cherokee told us they were the worst for sending everyone up there because it’s easier for them.

Self pay be aware of deceptive billing, I asked the price to be seen and was quoted $200, was seen for sinus pain and told that they do not prescribe antibiotics for sinus infections anymore, tested for covid and when I asked for the cost was told it was included in my visit. I had to see another Dr. at another practice to treat me with antibiotics and a steroid for the sinus infection. I asked for a visit summary at discharge and was told they do not provide them. Less than 1 week later I have been billed for an additional $245 for no treatment.

Limited follow up options. The front desk lady is very rude and short with you. Picked up fast though which is a plus. I’m sure the job grows old but maybe they should look to enrich the job or get a helper. Also limited follow up options. You can go here to figure out something is wrong but they cannot help you if you broke a finger, just “yep you should see a doctor”
