Wellness Institute

I have utilized The Wellness Institute for several differing mobility concerns ranging from physical therapy post knee replacement to lower back concerns. I find the staff to be warm, friendly, flexible and accommodating. There is an absolute sense of “team” thus creating an atmosphere of trust and “can do” attitude. My physical therapist, Dr. Richard Spector, is incredible. He has helped me tangibly improve my strength, flexibility, and balance. Richard’s knowledge base, as well as his desire to push me to perform at my best, has allowed me to continue to actively participate in the things I love. His energy and attention to individual needs is evident with each patient he works with. I would highly recommend The Wellness Institute and will continue to utilize them for future concerns.

I can honestly and truthfully say my experience here has been one of the best things I have ever done for myself! I have been extremely active and capable all of my life, even now into soon becoming 74 Years old. But in spite of my exercising and striving to “ keep up” at my age, my body has recently fought back and expressed pain and stiffness and much less strength!! My back especially which I became more aware of was beginning to limit my abilities. At the Wellness Center, they evaluated me, set up a progressive strength training program but most of all encouraged me by providing me with insight into why I was hurting and demonstrated exercises to help me gain back some strength, which equated to increased movement and less pain. Love their approach of staying active at all ages, and their different techniques to strengthen the body where it’s needed. In August 2024 my doctor sent me to PT due to extreme pain in back, hip, and thigh. I chose Wellness Institute where I met therapist Sophia Bursch. After several sessions, we finally found the right group of back and core strengthening exercises for my particular pain. During each visit she would ask questions and give tips. She reminded me to be sure and do the exercises daily, or as often as possible. I'm happy to say a year later I feel pretty strong at 70 years old. My thanks to Sophia for her dedication in this field of work. She is one of the best!

Josie is a wonderful therapist. I do feel better and will return in a month for re-evaluation. Jen is wonderful too. Wellness is my place to go for PT!
