Walgreens Pharmacy

I keep going back to Walgreens, hoping they will get better. Too many issues... not having prescriptions ready when promised, losing prescriptions that have been filled, not having mutiple meds that my doctor has prescribed (and unable to obtain them for some reason), and the long lines don't help. I will be moving all of prescriptions to a different pharmacy.

The store and the actual employees that work there are great, the pharmacy on the other hand just absolutely horrible there are both smaller less well known and larger pharmacies that provide much better customer service and actually answer the phone. I honestly dont see how they're still open as many have closed.

I’m not one to write bad reviews, but Walgreens in general, specifically in Lumberton, has gone so far downhill that I feel like I should warn everyone to stay away. I waited in the drive thru line for over 20 minutes to pick up my prescription. By the time that it is my turn, it is 6:33pm and I see a tiny whiteboard behind the glass that says the drive thru closes at 6:30pm whereas the lobby closes at 7pm. There isn’t a sign where you can see it before you are at the window. No one in the pharmacy bothered to address me or say anything. They had put plastic over the window so that they could just ignore those of us waiting in the drive thru lane. It says nothing about the drive thru closing earlier on the automated system either. I’ve always talked so good on Walgreens. I’ve never wrote a bad review on anyone before but LET ME TELL YOU. This place is AWFUL. My prescription was called in early. I called for two weeks to make sure my Adderall Tablets would be in stock. I got “yes ma’am” every single phone call until the day I’m suppose to pick up. Called this morning said they would be ready by 11:30. Then the pharmacist calls me back and says they do not have them in stock and will not know when they get any more. How much more unprofessional can you get? I also work in health care and I couldn’t imagine treating my patients this way. I understand running out of the medicine. It’s the fact I’ve called EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. And was told it would be ready TODAY. Now, with it being a Saturday I’m stuck without my medicin

Around 5:50 on Wednesday the Inside line went from 2 people to 9 people waiting in line because they were so slow. Heard the lady working phone for assistance but no one ever came. When it was finally my turn none of my meds were ready & the lady didnt even know if they had any in stock. So she said come back in 20 mins to see if its ready. When I came back around 6:25 in the drive-thru with only one car infront of me & 5 behind me the lady closed the window as I pulled up for my turn & put a sign up that said they closed at 6:30. (Weekdays are open until 7) Will NEVER use lumberton walgreens again.
