I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Nelson. He is very thorough, patient, and takes time to explain everything clearly. I didn't feel rushed during my appointment, and I left confident that my eyes are in good hands. The staff is also friendly and professional, and the office runs smoothly. I have been going to Dr. Nelson my whole life. But in the last few years I have received so much gaslighting from him and his staff. 3 years ago I had an eye exam for glasses only. When I wanted to get contacts he said I had no script because I didn't do a contact exam. I asked well why didn't I and he said to me "you told me you don't wear contacts anymore". Now, why would I tell him that, if I do in fact wear them? So I was inconvenienced and had to go back for the other exam, (a year later because I was so offput) Then, a month or so ago I called to make a new appt and on the phone the receptionist was very curt. She told me Dr Nelson only wants to see me every 2 years. That I had an appt last year so I'm not due. And I had to tell her well yah but I paid out of pocket. It has been 2 ye

I have been going to Dr Nelsons office for at least 15 years, great guy never had any bad experiences. Nicole, who knows how to apply my vision benefits correctly not like the other vision joint i was previously going to, always explains the breakdown so i can understand. Very nice place to go.

I have been coming to Dr Nelson since I was 16 years old and he was in the Walmart. I followed him to the Vision Center II and I wouldn't go anywhere else. He's kind and compassionate. I have a very high script and him and his staff always go out of their way to make sure I get the best care and fit. I love them. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Nelson since I was 8 years old and what I experienced in my last visit made me switch doctors. I went to get my annual eye exam without my mother for the first time and from the moment I walked in I was instantly treated much differently than my mother. The receptionist was very impatient with me when I checked in and gave me a hard time about my new eye insurance. After I was checked in, a woman took me back before seeing the doctor and she was obviously irritated with me for flinching when she blew air into my eyes, which made me very uncomfortable. Finally when I saw doctor Nelson he made sure to let me know that he would be making less money from me because I wanted to get contacts.
