Brett A. Garber, DO was horrible. Just not a pleasant person or experience. He clearly did not become a doctor to help people. He’s in it for the money. As if white men in America aren’t making enough money. He arrogantly states his FDL was 17k and I I’m getting a nice procedure and my insurance is paying for it. Ok and? I work and I pay into my insurance so yes they should pay for it. I was rushed. I asked for pictures, he didn’t have them. He told me I can look on the website and look at his pictures of a procedure I’m not getting. A joke. He is the reason I stay with a doctor of color. Doctors of color have more empathy and understanding because they aren’t privileged and white. 0/10 and I know just who to express my grievances to outside of this Google review.

I scheduled an appointment to see NP Stephanie Marano for a whole body skin check. The address that I was provided during scheduling took me to a primary care office that was not affiliated with Jefferson. I called the office to let them know that I was having a hard time finding their location and to let them know I was running a few minutes late as I had to correct the address I had been provided. They assured me that wasn’t an issue. Upon arrival to the office, I was told I was 2 minutes out of their grace period window to be seen. I had driven an hour and a half to be seen, was the first appointment of the day, and there were no other patients in the waiting area. I let the staff know that I had called and had issues getting here due to the address provided being incorrect. I had been

Edit: Honestly the jokes write themselves with their response. "Call us." No, stupid. Give patients an actual phone number instead of making them call some answering service that forwards a message that then requires them to wait for a call back. What is even going on with our healthcare system? This is an unacceptable way to manage communications. WE WANT TO CALL AN OFFICE AND IMMEDIATELY BE SPEAKING WITH A HUMAN WHO WORKS IN THAT PHYSICAL SPACE TO SCHEDULE OUR APPOINTMENTS, OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON. Switched to Dermatology Center of Washington Township who has real humans who work IN THE OFFICE that you are calling. There is no way to directly call dermatology here. I waited six months for this appointment and had to travel and hour and 30 minutes away from Philadelphia, they sent me away because I was 3 minutes beyond the 15min grace period even though I completed check-in online and had already paid my co-pay. Terrible way to treat patients after such a long drive.

To be honest, I am not sure where all the negative reviews regarding staff are coming from. Check in was quick, was seen within 5 min of appointment time and everyone was nice, courteous, and friendly. I had a very positive experience at this location as I have with any Jefferson location I have been to. Sadly, most people only write negative reviews.
