Venkata Marella, MD - Urologist

Dr. Marella is my urologist. He does amazing work and listens to the needs of the patients. Also Dr. Marcella’s nurse practitioner was very knowledgeable and helpful. The office staff was very friendly and helpful also.

I was admitted to the hospital a few weeks ago with extreme pain due to bleeding and bladder issues. When the hospital was unsuccessful in contacting my urologist they called in Dr. Marella to operate on me, on a Saturday afternoon. The surgery was a big success and took care of my pain and my problems! About three weeks later he took care of a fairly large kidney stone. That procedure went so well that I would never have known I even had anything done. Dr. Marella is an outstanding doctor to whom I am very grateful! I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a urologist! Thank you very much, doctor!

Dr Marella treated me in the hospital for a kidney/sepsis infection from a stone. He is professional and caring. I switched over to his practice and am very happy with the continued care I have received.

Rude receptionist. Gave me 2 tests up penis (extreme pain) for possible Botox for bladder control. Dr said needed operation for growth, not mentioning test result for botox. Guess more lucrative procedure took precidence. Asked if the 2 tests meant ok for botox...no response. Finally told bladder was fine (???), How so if I still have NO BLADDER CONTROL AT ALL?? Then he has the NERVE to kick me OUT?

This is from Joanne’s husband Ron. Had an 8:45 appointment to see Dr Marella. Get there 10 minutes early and check in. After sitting down for a few minutes get called to the desk and get asked why I am here. Tell them for a routine follow up. Am told that they don’t know why I am there and that they don’t have any PSA blood work for me. I tell them I am here because your doctor wanted me here for a follow up and that I had blood work done 2 weeks earlier with the script issued by them from my previous visit. They check with Labcorp and find my results. Employee I was dealing with made me feel like I was the one that didn’t know what I was doing. Go back to waiting room and take a seat for the next 45 minutes. Finally get taken back and placed in a room where the nurse does my check in. Wai
