Dr Wehrly was excellent in removing the cataracts and putting in the custom lenses on both eyes. In preparation for the first surgery there was an issue with putting in the IV but the second surgery preparation team of Cary, Nicole and Diane was excellent, they did an outstanding job making sure all of my needs were taken care of. Also at Lake Eye care center in The Villages Wildwood, everyone is friendly and very professional. I highly recommend Lake Eye Associates.

The surgery outcome is wonderful . Dr. Wehrly did an excellent job . All staff starting from check in, EXCEPT ONE TECHNICIAN (DAVE) in the Catalys room, were extremely nice . It's amazing , the entire staff except this person was super caring. He was quite unprofessional. He was seated behind the head and neck immobilization unit in the laser room. He can use the adjustable features of this device for a proper fit around my head. But what he did wasi forcefully pressing my head into it as if it's a 'one size fits all' cup. This was painful and made me uncomfortable. Immediately after that he turned, moved my head towards the right , again so rough. This was inappropriate. I told him how I felt. But his reply was ' yes you would feel uncomfortable.' I knew head stabilization is

I had an excellent experience with this center. The staff was caring and knowledgeable, especially knowing my fears. Dr. Wehrly and his team was above and beyond which eased my nerves. My cornea transplant so far has been successful and I would most definitely recommend Lake Eye Group and Santa Fe Surgical center.

Not an appropriate procedural explanation from surgery staff and attitude is a bit abrupt. They do so many procedures each week that they don’t realize each individual needs information that is common and repetitive to them. They have lost their individual patient care. However, admitting and pre surgery nurse was outstanding.

I had an amazing experience. Everyone was kind and very professional. Everything was explained to me and I was very comfortable through the entire procedure. I will definitely recommend Lake eye and Dr. Scot Holman for Cataract surgery and lens replacement.
