Dr. Rafat attempted to sell me a crown procedure that was ultimately determined to be unnecessary. When I expressed concern, based on my past experience of having received four unnecessary fillings from previous dentists, he became personally offended rather than addressing the issue clinically. My previous dentist failed to provide X-rays demonstrating medical necessity for my previous fillings. Instead, he stated that he was “on the board” and implied that pursuing a complaint against Dr. Mo at Timonium Family Dentistry would be futile. After declining the procedure, the office repeatedly contacted me asking if I still wanted the crown, despite my clear decision. The professionalism and kind service shines through the entire staff from the front desk, to billing, to the clinical professionals. Dr. Rafat as well as his entire team go above and beyond to guarantee patient satisfaction. The office is beautiful and the themed exam rooms are a very nice touch. My exams typically take a bit longer as a discussion about the Orioles and Ravens tends to add a few extra minutes.
