Utah Valley Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Three of my sons had their wisdom teeth removed here and it was great. Attentive staff, great recovery and care. We made the mistake of trying a different clinic because of timing with our fourth. All kinds of infection and antibiotics later, we know to never do that again. I know infections can happen anywhere, but the lack of care and the fact that they wouldn’t let you back there was crazy. You can go back with your kids here. Our last two will definitely be coming to you guys. Thank you, Dr. Rasmussen!

I price checked and this place was the best price for wisdom teeth. There was a short wait in the lobby, the staff was great, very friendly. They run an effective office and appointments are quick. They were great with my son. We saw Dr Rasmussen and he was great.

We got referred to Dr. Burton by our orthodontist to get all 4 wisdom teeth out! The staff is super friendly and helpful - they make you feel right at home! We had a consultation (Orem) and had the actual surgery the next day in Saratoga Springs. We couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience! Dr. Burton explained everything thoroughly in the consult. The next day (surgery day) he was on time, personable, and made us feel right at home. The surgery normally takes about 30 minutes but Dr. Burton, being efficient as he is, only took 20 minutes! He even called in the prescription meds before the surgery started, so by the time we arrived at the pharmacy, it was ready for pick up. For a surgery, it was a remarkable first time experience - HIGHLY recommend!

I’ve had 2 different situations in the past year where I had to have a tooth extracted. Dr. Burton did both of those procedures including 1 implant. If I were to sum up my experience I would say that Dr. Burton genuinely cares about his patients. He is kind, caring, professional and personable. I was a nervous wreck and he and his staff were absolutely amazing at helping me understand that everything would be okay. Very calming and I was so grateful he was the Doctor I chose to do those procedures. If needed, I would without a doubt have him do any future procedure’s. Thank you Dr. Burton and your great staff!

Dr. Burton did my wife’s wisdom teeth removal. The surgery and recovery went fine, but he had very little bedside manner. My wife was in an immense amount of pain due to an impacted tooth. Luckily, we were able to get in quickly. My wife struggles with IV’s and when it came time for her to get it inserted she was trying to breathe through the stress, and Dr. Burton rushed her by saying something along the lines of “I don’t have all day. Either we do this now or we’ll have to reschedule.” I understand surgeons run on tight schedules, but it felt as though my wife’s extreme pain and anxiety were completely disregarded. If you go here, and value a comfortable and caring environment, I would recommend avoiding Dr. Burton.
