The Smilist Dental Massapequa Park

I had an outstanding experience with Sheyann, the dental hygienist at The Smilist Dental. From the moment I sat down in the chair, she was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. What really stood out was how thorough she was with the x-rays, initial oral exam, and dental cleaning. She didn’t rush through the cleaning and paid attention to every detail, which made me feel confident that my dental health was truly being taken care of. At the same time, she was extremely accommodating and considerate, constantly checking in to make sure I was comfortable. This was honestly the best dental experience I’ve ever had. The dental hygienist I had (I think her name was Shenee) was outstanding. My mouth is very sensitive due to receding gums. She was gentle, kept stopping to make sure I was ok and even let me hold the spit sucker because even that causes me discomfort. She sang and hum during my cleaning to make the experience all the more pleasant. Then she offered practical advise to maintain my good oral hygiene. Then when the dentist came in (I think her name was Dr Karim) the two of them together discussed my future treatment plan and showed such a high level of mutual respect. I have never had such a pain free experience.

Dr. Malone is by far the best I’ve ever experienced in a dentist office. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences in the past, but he took his time, he explained everything, and made sure I was comfortable. I also called a week prior to my appointment, and he got on the phone with me to reassure me he would give me the proper medications for my procedure. If you want a great experience, and want someone who is patient, go see Dr. Malone!! 10/10!

Just switched dentists. It's been over 20 years, Unfortunately I had to part ways due to insurance changes. I randomly chose the Smilist in Massapequa where I grew up. Had My first cleaning and X-rays with Dental hygenist Peter. He did a great job 👍 and was very kind. I highly recommend him. The doctor did a brief exam. Very nice lady but I forgot her name 😬

Sheyann and dr Malone were both amazing in every way possible. They both made sure I was 100% comfortable the entire time. I have always been scared of the dentist…but not anymore, Sheyann and Malone showed me I can go to the dentist and not be nervous ! 10/10 thank you very much!!!
