PM Pediatric Urgent Care

I took my 11-month-old daughter to PM Pediatric Urgent Care because she had a cough and congestion. At first, I was honestly very concerned about going. I had read the reviews beforehand and noticed they weren’t great, plus the location had a 2.6-star rating. I even told my daughter’s father that I wasn’t sure we should go there because the reviews were bad ☹️. He asked if I wanted to go to a different location, and I said no—I decided to give it a try and not base my experience on other people’s. I am SO glad I did. From start to finish, my boyfriend and I were extremely happy with our entire experience. The receptionist was very nice and kind. As a former PICU nurse, having a reliable place I can turn too for my own children is so important. I am always met with appropriate concern and thorough assessments for my kids. Geralyn was so attentive and truly listened to the history of why we came in and acted quickly and diligently for my daughter.

My son was seen at the Massapequa location. We saw nurse Cleary she was great. My son had to have his ears cleaned out she was very patient with him. Over all the office is great you get in and out quick and staff is pleasant.

My first experience with PM pediatrics was great however on Christmas Day my son was brought in He wasn’t my feeling good. They did all rapid testing flu Covid strep all came back negative the swabs were sent out to the lab It comes back positive for flu I get the results on my portal I don’t get a follow up phone call asking if I need a medication for my son. I called them this morning They’re telling me that that’s not their policy to call patients. The medication has to be requested by the Parent if you see that the patient is positive Why would you not reach out to the patient to see if they need a medication? Why do I have to tell you now it’s past 48 hours my son is getting worse NEVER EVER COMING BACK

Grateful for the care my toddler received for a broken wrist. I was in a panic. No where was able to see him for an X-ray…my pediatrician had me running all over town looking for a place. And despite there not being an imaging tech available at PMPediatrics, the doctor on staff was able to do an X-ray and give us a diagnosis and get him in a splint quickly. Everyone was caring and compassionate. Everyone handled him during this stressful situation, with much better care and compassion and coddling than my own pediatrician. Really appreciate the care we received
