Excel Urgent Care of Massapequa Park

Well what do you do when you have a nasal infection and cant get to your Primary Care Physician, you go to Urgent Care.. what a great choice this was. Clean and highly efficient! The girl at the front desk Ratika was great and even better was the treating Physician MD Laura, who was very attentive to my needs and questions. If you wind up in the same situation as I was, take comfort in knowing that your in good hands here.

Quick, fast and accurate. The appointment was surprisingly fast but not too fast , After the doctor told me my diagnosis , she explained the plan of action . In which the doctor also explained how I Could have gotten the infection, and what I could do to avoid getting the infection in the future. What a great bedside manner. Very kind , knowledgeable and informative. Definitely will recommend to friends and family. Next time I need a doctor urgently there’s no doubt I will return . Two thumbs up

First time at this urgent care for diverticulitis. I was very concerned about coming to an urgent care because I couldn’t get an appointment with my gastroenterologist until early next week. But, I have to say that Laura the PA did exactly what my doctor would’ve done . She definitely put me at ease. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I’ve been coming here for years. Always courteous and usually very little wait. They’ve changed hands a few times over the years, and I’m not sure if the staff was the same, but to the credit of everyone, the service has always been good despite the banner hand-off. However, I am glad to see that they have returned to Excel, because it is much more streamlined and human for lack of a better word. My only complaint, and it’s fairly small, but worth mentioning, is that I did not get a call back with PCR results when promised. I wasn’t in a hurry and was home sick, so I gave it a few days, but It took more than one call to get an answer. I was told someone had called and left a message but this was not the case. This office is very clean and the staff is extremely helpful and nice ! I highly recommend this office for urgent care. PA Laura, medical assistant Sandra and receptionist Debbie were so nice and helpful. Definitely will use this urgent care again !
