i cannot say enough good things about my loved one's stay here for rehab. The team assigned to him was truly wonderful on every level..professional, kind and attentive. He grew strong enough to go home.

My Mom was there from March - July this year. I was very hesitant since the place is very old and run down in some areas, but it was the only option. The staff is amazing! Cannot say enough about how caring, patient and respectful they all were. My Mom could not stand on her leg and was in bed most of the time. Everyone made her feel comfortable and not embarrassed. The compassion they felt for her was amazing. Everyone chips in to care for the patience when short handed. All the nursing facilities are under staffed, but I was impressed with how they all covered for each other when possible. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is due to the food, which wasn't always the greatest and the wait at times due to being short staffed. My husband was in strong for a month and they wanted to send him to a nursing home. I had heard terrible things about nursing homes so that didn't seem to be an option. One day they told me that they had an opening in the Hurlbut on East Henrietta Road. I read the reviews and they were so terrible that I knew I didn't want him to go there. One of the social workers at strong told us to take a tour and then make up our minds. We did that and Nicole showed us around and was so good at what she did, that we thought it was a good idea to take him there. We haven't been sorry. He's been there for 5 months and I have found very few staff that didn't treat my husband well. the only problem we have is that he has glaucoma and is blind in one eye and can only see a spec in the other. and some

My experience at the nursing home on east Henrietta rd. If you care and love your loved ones, please please please do not take them to this location I can not speak for other Hurlbut locations but this experience was awful, nursing staff did not have a clue of what was going on and even argued amongst each other at times, the place was completely out dated it looks like a dungeon, place was filthy people were placed in the hallways all times of day and night I went in one night at about 9:30 pm my loved one was setting in the hallway slumped over in the wheelchair clothes still cover with dinner food while two aides sat there on their phones. several times Medication was given at the wrong times, even the wrong medication was given at times and some times no medication was given.
