*edited at the bottom for the idiotic response I received from the pharmacy* Well I got lied to by a pharmacist. I told them that I was going to be moving and that I needed to have my refills sent to me because they were so close to my move date TO MARYLAND, which I TOLD THE PHARMACIST. I was told it would be no issue and they would be able to literally fill the prescription and then mail it straight to me. I guess they can do that in some states but this woman at the pharmacy did not seem to know which ones they were? Because Maryland is not one. This has caused me a major detriment, I don't know how in the hell I'm supposed to find a primary care provider within a week, while I'm still waiting on Medicaid to be approved, and get over seven medications prescribed to me... Several months ago, I called The Drug store to see if I could switch my prescription from Meijer pharmacy to them. I live in Republic which is about 50 min from Iron Mountain and Marquette, and I don not get to town often, but I get to Iron Mountain more frequently. The associate that answered the phone said that it was fine, and she could call to get my prescriptions transferred to them. When I told her what the prescription was for, she said that she could not personally transfer it, and I would have to get my doctor to send a new prescription there, since it was a controlled substance. No problem, I didn't need it that day, and I had my doctor rewrite my prescription and send it to the Drug Store. I had no issues the first two times I picked up my prescriptions. I have went there for years and I have never had a problem. My meds are always ready when I go there.

Went in to get melatonin. Couldnt get anyone to help while employees stood at register/counter. Finally went up to counter to ask and they acted like it was a big choir Left without buying anything.not even a goodbye from employees. And small businesses wonder why they go out of business. Will never go back.
