Bellin Health Urgent Care

Went here today and was greeted by such a kind registration gal who got me registered in no time and was also very friendly. My wait time was not long. The nurse who called me in was excellent and friendly also.I am sorry that I can't recall his name. But, shout out to his professionalism and not making me feel rushed. Dr. Alyssa L was my doctor. She was very professional and took time to listen to me also and talked me through all of my allergy and sinus /respiratory issues, etc. Bellin Urgent Care of Iron Mountain is very organized and well staffed. Thank you to each of the three employees today.

I had some female problems and Jennifer Gibbins the nurse practitioner that saw me was so concerned, helpful and friendly. In fact she even left the room to get a doctors opinion on my problem. All the other staff that I met there was also very friendly and my wait time to see someone was only five minutes.

I am not from the area, and unfortunately ended up needing urgent care for an ongoing infection and cough while on a family trip at a cabin up here. Let me just say that this place is phenomenal- so much so that I felt the need to write a review. I didn’t know what to expect but everyone from the receptionist to the nurses to the doctor were SO knowledgeable and kind, and took their time answering my questions and making me feel better. After an ongoing bout of COVID and a sinus infection or bronchitis for the past few weeks that wasn’t seeming to get better, the doctor decided to put me on a round of antibiotics and I’m 48 hours in and feel so much better. Very unhappy with this place. My family and I are visiting the area. We’ve had to come to this urgent care twice in the last 4 days. First was for my 4 year old son. Got there right when they opened and were there for over 2 hours with him coughing like crazy from the virus he currently has. Second was for my husband. They front desk lady asked him why he was in. He said I think I have bronchitis. (it’s what my son just had) He said the lady rolled her eyes at him and handed him a mask (she wasn’t even wearing one). I thought coming here would be better than the ER at the hospital but this place isn’t better at all.

Professional and kind from the receptionist to all of the care providers. I was very impressed. The Dickinson county community is very fortunate to have this available .
