Despite having another location closer to home, I continue to choose driving further away just for her. I even change my day offs to ensure my children are seen by her. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Maxwell to anyone looking for a pediatrician that actually cares (about baby AND mom!)… the books she gives the babies are just the icing on the cake!

We have been seeing Dr. Maxwell for 3 years now. First, when my son was born and now with our daughter. We love Dr. Maxwell! She is very patient, thorough and informative. She always takes the time to educate us; I never feel like I am asking a silly question. Pediatric Associates of Lauderdale Lakes is amazing! The doctors and staff are so kind, patient, and professional — they always take great care of my child and make every visit stress-free. This was our first appointment with Dr. T. Maxwell in about two years, though she is listed as my son’s primary doctor. We were roomed at 9:20 a.m. and waited more than an hour; the medical assistant said she was handling an emergency. When Dr. Maxwell arrived, my 3-year-old was quietly using his tablet. She said that because he didn’t make eye contact, he needed to see a neurologist and that he “has autism.” I showed her a video of my son having abdominal pain he had been seen in the ER and diagnosed with constipation and Dr. Maxwell said he was “masturbating.” These comments were inappropriate, inaccurate, and not based on a proper exam.
