Tallmadge Health and Rehab

Horrible place!! If I could leave 0 stars I would! They were sighted for negligence! Long story short my mother was dropped or fell & nothing was reported, family not notified! And we were always there visiting. We were seeing a decline in health & had to argue w/ staff to send her to the hospital. Found out she had a broken arm & severely dehydrated & malnourished! This place had the nerve to try & blame the ambulance and/or the hospital for the broken arm. Refused to take accountability. There’s more to add but it would be a book!

Today I will be bringing my father home after a 3 month stay at Tallmadge Health and Rehab. Our family is extremely grateful for the outstanding care that was provided. The nurses, therapists and entire staff were all compassionate, caring and incredibly supportive to my dad and my entire family. Each person went above and beyond to provide comfort, motivation and quality care. Your dedication and kindness mean more than words can say. ALL of the therapists were simply AMAZING!! And a special thank you to Angie and George. The care you have given to my dad over the past 3 months has not gone unnoticed. I would definitely recommend this facility.

I would not recommend Tallmadge Health and Rehab. My grandmother was a patient there and experienced neglect. She was left soiled for hours, became malnourished, and was frequently sick. Her arm was broken during her stay and no one could explain how it happened. She had repeated episodes of confusion and unresponsiveness, but staff and doctors dismissed concerns and did not call emergency services, telling us we could call ourselves if we wanted. The aides and nurses were often unfriendly and dismissive. She eventually developed sepsis and other serious conditions. After being taken to the ER and transferred to another facility, she has been thriving. No family should have to fight this hard for proper care.

I was in this building a number of times to visit my patient who was on hospice with my company . The staff was welcoming , kind and always present . The patient received supreme care from the aides and nurses . Often the activity coordinator would check in on her and offer to take her to the activities room . She even took her time to hunt down chapstick for my patient . Not only is it a beautiful clean building , the workers are all willing to help and make sure the patients needs are met .

Excellent care from staff. Very friendly staff including nurses and therapist. Activities all day long so you have things to do. Every morning a newsletter with menu for the day.
