Customer Reviews
My 5 year old daughter needed to get her broken arm pinned, Dr. Nelson was fabulous! She spoke with us before the surgery letting us know what to expect which gave us a lot of confidence and comfort in her to take care of our baby. We had a great experience with her overall.
She is an amazing surgeon. With COVID my surgery originally got canceled and then rescheduled at the last minute. I was completely terrified for this surgery because it has been my biggest fear since I was diagnosed at age 11. I am 17 now and she did amazing with my surgery. I was admitted to the hospital on Monday February 1st, 2021 and was discharged on Wednesday February 3rd,2021. I have been recovering very quickly. After my 3 week check up I wasn’t taking any pain pills and wasn’t in much pain at all and was able to return to work and start driving again. My curves also went from 70° on the top and 56° on the bottom down to 15° on the top and 25° on the bottom. The bottom still even has the chance to correct more. But she is absolutely amazing and super nice and caring to all her pati
Dr. Nelson put a Pavlik harness on my daughter too tight. She slept too long because she couldn't breathe well. UR has gotten too big and no longer cares. This place is a joke. We average at least 40 minutes of wait time after the appointment was scheduled for. A student randomly came in though we weren't asked if it was ok, didn't say anything for 10 minutes, but when he did say something, Dr. Nelson negated it when we asked for her to come in. The receptionists are rude. We needed a replacement harness, so I called at 8 am, was told the order was in the system. We arrived at the office, had to wait for HOURS, called back a couple times, and was asked to go to a different department before we finally got the harness.
Works great with my son. She spends time to actually talk to you and address concerns with you. My son is only 3 and she is fantastic with him. Surgery will be soon for him due to deformities in his spine. I recommend her. Wait times are long because she takes time with every patient and acrually cares
Ridiculously long wait and rude nurse. After being a patient of Dr. Sanders who was always so efficient and had such an amazing bedside manner it is not a great experience we are having. Also this location doesn't have the correct imaging machine for scoliosis patients. I would recommend getting a second option.
