Greta doctor! Thoughtful professional and honest. What makes this office even better is his front desk staff - Gaby was helping me with contact lenses oder and her patience, knowledge of insurance side of things, courtesy, politeness - it was just 5 Star lux resort treatment. So thank you to Gaby and Dr Sklar - fantastic people and great office! They also have a decent selection of glasses, so will be coming back.

Took my family, son and future daughter in law and wife to see the doctor for much needed exams and new glasses. Dr. Sklar took an incredibly long time with each to give them a great exam . My wife, who has very complicated exam, could not have been more impressed. The choice of glasses was excellent and it was one of the nice optometrist offices I have ever seen. I have been going to Dr. Skylar for over 20 years and would definitely recommend him. Him and his team are always professional, helpful, and friendly. The office is clean and appointments are timely. I’ll never go anywhere else for eye care.

I have been seeing Dr Sklar for about 14 years now. He can make a prescription by simply looking at how my eye looks through the lenses, better than I can by telling him which variation of lens is better. I am at the point in my life that I value my time at a crazy rate, and ~40 min drive one way is just unacceptable, but I could not find anybody as good closer to home. (I tried some optometrist in Ridgefield, CT.) Another thing about optometrists in my geographical area is charging unreasonable amounts for glasses: we are talking $500 for _just_ a frame with ~yr2017 prices, i.e. before the inflation. Frames and lenses here are reasonably priced, and I can always find a nice looking frame within $300 ~yr2023 (and I am picky!).
