Ready Set Smile Pediatric Dentistry

My 3-year-old has only been to the dentist one other time, and he did not enjoy that visit. However, today was a completely different experience. Dr. Amanda was wonderful, and so was her assistant, Jeylin. Jeylin took the time to play with him before the exam, which I believe really helped him feel more comfortable. Together, they did an amazing job checking his teeth. They even put on his favorite show, *Sesame Street*, praised him throughout the visit, and sang a song to keep him at ease. Dr. Amanda also took the time to explain everything to me given that she referred my son to an ENT doctor and made me feel comfortable asking any questions I had. I absolutely recommend them!

My child had the best experience here! He was nervous at first, but even before meeting Dr. Amanda, he was immediately drawn in by the space, as was I. The waiting area has toys catered to little kids and a TV playing children’s programming, which helped him feel comfortable right away. Kids really do feed off energy, and my son could sense how friendly and welcoming Dr. Amanda and her staff were. Each treatment room has its own personality, pattern, and charm, which made the experience feel fun instead of intimidating. Dr. Amanda made sure to involve him throughout the process, helping him warm up quickly. She was able to thoroughly examine his teeth and take X-rays all while keeping him engaged and calm. Dr Amanda Brijlall was incredibly patient and kind with my 2-year-old daughter, taking the time to explain everything she was about to do and what she was doing in a way my child could understand. The entire office felt welcoming and truly kid-friendly. I’m so grateful for the care and attention she showed—highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful experience at this Ready Set Smile! The entire team was thoughtful and thorough from start to finish. The office itself is incredibly clean and beautifully designed, which immediately helped Koen feel more at ease. Dr. Amanda is excellent with children — patient, gentle, and so knowledgeable. Koen has been anxious at past offices, but this visit was truly different. They took their time explaining everything, made him feel comfortable, and turned what could’ve been a stressful moment into a pleasant one. I’m so grateful we found this practice. I brought my son to Dr. Brijlall for his very first dental appointment. The staff were very welcoming. Dr. Brijlall was very knowledgeable, kind and straightforward. She gave me great recommendations and gave very thorough responses to my questions. The office is beautiful, and well equipped. My son enjoyed the toys at the reception area.
