AFC Urgent Care Port Chester

Went for an urgent visit and was seen almost right away (I made an appointment). Joana Pjetry the PA was wonderful! 5 stars to her!!! She was kind, thorough, and listened to all I said. She was right on point. Only reason for 4 stars is because l I needed x-rays and since it is advertised, I assumed they had a radiologist or x-ray service there but that wasn't the case,;also they sent my prescriptions to a different pharmacy from the one I specified on the paperwork. For x-rays Joana sent us to a place in New Rochelle were I was able to book an appt and got them done right away. I was surprised at the speed of results! Within 15 mins Joana was calling me back. Although x-rays weren't conclusive, she was concerned and told me to go to ER, and thanks to that I was able to receive proper care

While the staff is friendly, my issue is that it's not a properly staffed Urgent Care like a CityMD. I took my child in to see a doctor, we got a medical assistant and then a Physician's Assistant came in to see him. I asked if the doctor was coming in shortly. The PA told me that there are no doctors on staff. I asked if that was because it was late on a weekend and was told that there are never doctors on staff, that they only have 'supervising physicians' offsite who they message if they need them to review something. I think this is completely false advertising, every other UC I've been to, like a CityMD, has doctors onsite. I was told my child might need some basic imagining, like an xray at first, that they had a machine there but no technician to use the machine. Again, I asked if t

I’m disappointed with my visit. While the staff was friendly and professional, I paid $130 for a urinalysis and basic vitals, with very little additional evaluation. Without further investigation, I was advised to go to the ER for what was assumed to be a possible kidney stone. I expressed concerns that my pain might be related to my spine or a possible herniated disc, especially since I was experiencing other symptoms, but those concerns were not explored. When I went to the ER, it was extremely crowded. I received another urinalysis and bloodwork, but again, no evaluation of my spine was done. My pain was once more assumed to be related to a kidney stone or muscle strain. Now I’m facing an ER bill, and my pain has continued to worsen. My lower spine feels like it’s under severe pressure,

Normally every other urgent care I go to staff is not welcoming as if the they don’t want to be there. But when I walked in to AFC Urgent Care Port Chester now mind me they had just opened literally I was right behind them. The staff, nurses and doctor were very friendly and polite. I did not have to wait for anyone to get there. They were prepared, friendly and polite. Highly recommended.

This urgent care was very efficient, friendly, and the most affordable. My daughter had to get a test done. We were out from out of town and would be cash paying. Of the 4 to 5 facilities I called this was the least expensive by far The facility was spotless, the Staff were very friendly and we were in and out in record time. Definitely a resource I’ll keep in mind when back in town if needed.
