ShopRite Pharmacy

This is a very large, super ShopRite. The store is always busy and is well stocked. If you can't find it here, you don't need it. It is easily accessible from Route 31 South of Washington and has a huge parking lot for their customers. I have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

The only one that deserves 5 stars is Ashley. The rest of the team is rude and clearly only looks out for themselves. Example-- I called asking if my child's medicine was ready, I came in that time frame, the ladies clearly heard me at the window when I said my child's name. Instead of telling THEIR coworker that it wasn't mixed yet, they ignored it and let her look around for it. Knowing it wasn't prepped and ready. When I brought it up to the woman, their response was oh it happens all the time. THATS SAD. PATHETIC EVEN. why not be a team and help either other out? On top of that, they don't tell you when your prescription is ready until 3 days after of it sitting there. They also don't tell you if something is out of stock they just let it go. Shoprite has been my Pharmacy for years, never had a problem and the ladies that work there are super nice!!

Went there once, will never again. Doctor calls in three prescriptions, go there to pick it up, they hand you a bag and say have a nice day. Get home to find out there was only two of the three prescriptions. Call in asking why that was, was told one of them wasn't covered by insurance. Hey thanks! How about say that at the window when we're there to pick it up? Which is what I said to the young lady. To which I got a response of "you should check the bag before you leave". With an attitude....oh ok. And they wonder why they have so many bad reviews

It feels like I'm in the Twilight zone when interacting with these people. I even went so far as to print out paperwork to file a formal complaint to the Board of Pharmacy, but unfortunately any complaint can be public and I don't want others to know my medical information. If anyone else would like to file a formal complaint just do an internet search stating, "nj board of pharmacy complaint" and it will show up in the search results (the complaint would be with the actual NJ state board, not Shoprite). The pharmacy doesn't contact me if a medication isn't approved or isn't in stock. They just don't fill it and don't say anything. They are also rude. At one point, I had two medications the pharmacy said interacted with one another due to one decreasing the other's effectiveness. Each p
