Schweiger Dermatology Group - Rochester

I’m not one to typically post a public negative review, but in this case, I’m willing to make an exception. Do. Not. Go. Here. I’ll start with the most egregious piece— I came in to an appointment to check two concerning spots on my skin. One was frozen off, and the other I was told, after a quick glance, was fine. Two months later I came back because my GP happened to see a spot in my annual that concerned him (missed by the doctor prior). When I asked questions in that biopsy appointment, I was given curt, cold responses and the same “I don’t know that’s why we’re doing the biopsy” response. Biopsy ended up being fine, but I had such a negative experience I decided to change practices. I made a new patient appointment at the new practice, and that doctor performed another full body sc

I had been going to this practice for more than 20 years and had always appreciated the care I received from previous providers. Then the practice was bought out and my doctor retired. Yesterday, I saw a new doctor for my annual skin check, and she was rather rude, condescending, and spent all of five minutes with me. It seemed like she barely checked my skin under the gown. When I asked treatment options for a spot of sun damage, she went ahead and hit it with liquid nitrogen without my consent. When I said as much, she was rude to me. And now I will receive a hefty bill for that 20-second treatment I didn’t request. I will NOT be returning to this practice unless I can be assured I do not have to be treated by Dr. Psaila again.

My family usually sees Dermatology associates of Rochester but they never answer the phone or call people back so I found this office that had a new location near me (Union Street). I called the phone number associated with the location (Union Street, Rochester) just to reach a rude man with an Indian accent telling me that I’m calling a Brighton location. He told me “here’s the phone number for the location on Clinton Ave” and I told him I’m not going to that location because it’s far from me. That’s why I thought I was calling Union Street? He was short and abrasive, insisting that “well I gave you the phone number for the Rochester location!” But couldn’t understand when I kept explaining to him that they have more than 1 Rochester location and the phone number on Google is wrong becaus

My Dr is great. Reception staff are great. The billing service charged me a $4.94 "Delivery Fee" for the privilege of paying me bill, online and on time. 100% BS. Schweiger will ruin this practice.
