ER Dept. Not recently, but extremely disappointed, did nothing for my grandson with an intestinal blockage which they DID find on the CT SCAN & IV fluids waited for transport for direct admit to GMC Danville. I brought him there @ approx. 5:50pm waited & waited all night while he had pain vomiting finally approx. 9AM I asked where are they ? " well, we called 9 transports, 6 said no, 3 we are waiting to hear back from," I was quite upset @ this point, I was then asked " well can YOU possibly transport him? Why the hell wasn't I asked that 12 hours earlier? I transported him myself! GMC staff had been waiting for him &had his room ready. Never again! I forgot to mention , he was very premature & while in the NICU @ GMC he had to have part of his bowel removed due to necrosis and reatta

Rude, slow, mainly stand around talking to each other vs actually working. Save yourself the hassle and go to giessinger in Orwigsburg that's a fantastic hospital with compitant staff who actually care about your well being, your time as well as their own and won't forget they have patients in rooms. Seriously, swerve this hospital especially in the event of an emergency like a stroke, heart attack, car accident, or idk say being hit by a car. They'll tick tick Stahl until it's nearly to late. Go to a better facility where the staff actually stand by and uphold the oath they take 🖤💋

If I could leave less than 1 star I would! This Pottsville hospital is a joke! I dropped my mom off at 5:30 pm at the emergency room I called her back a few hours later to see what was going on and she told me she's still sitting in the waiting room! To make a long story short my mom is still waiting to find out the blood and CT Xray results. She's still there and haven't heard anything yet! It's 10 to 11 hrs later! Unbelieva.ble! ALSO THE STAFF IS VARY RUDE! While NEVER go to this unprofessional idiot people! WARNING ⚠️ don't go to this hospital! Go a different one!

Staff couldn't be bothered to make the appropraite calls to get admitted children transferred. We had to make the calls ourselves to get our child transferred, meanwhile there are several other kids admitted within that have been waiting for over a week because the staff is more interested in other things rather than the health, well being, and rightful placement of their patients. I couldn't be more disgusted with the service they provided in the regard. Shame on them

I had to get surgery in the outpatient. The experience was fantastic. All the nurses were very kind despite me being nervous. The one anesthesiologist was amazing. I forget her name but she has excellent bedside manner. Such a sweet woman!!
