the store? amazing. the pharmacy? horrendous. always rude, very uninformed about how to speak to hard of hearing people, and do not care if you need your medications refilled on time due to harsh withdrawals from them. like any antidepressant, i needed them right away and even skipped a day to give them time to get it to me. i called and was told same day delivery simply could not happen even though i ordered in the correct timeframe. i was then asked “why dont you just come pick them up?” completely ignoring the fact i had already explained that my family lives across state lines and my garage door had broken at the time. i was told to just figure it out. complete unprofessionalism and negligence on their part now causes me to go through withdrawals for who knows how long and possibly end

Prescriptions transferred flawlessly & Pickup window transactions were painless. They suggested a COVID boster jab. Then I show up for the appointment & they did not have the vaccine in stock. Pic as proof of nothing.

Didnt have my prescription ready said it will be here tomorrow. 1st time. Gave them another chance and 2nd time I waited 10 min then was asked to wait another 10 so the 1 worker could make a phone call 15 mins later I left . Horrible customer service!!!

Not every Safeway has the same quality pharmacy/ pharmacists This Safeway Pharmacy from top to bottom has been taken care of me whether I’m in person or on the phone in a timely, friendly and professional manner. I have never not once been left in the dark. I can’t say say the same for the Bennet valley pharmacy - so I truly truly appreciate all of you here at commerce Safeway pharmacy - you make my life more simple

After reading several harsh reviews, I decided to add my 2-cents worth: Safeway Pharmacy on Commerce Blvd. is a very busy place. That's good for business and wonderful for patients that use this pharmacy on occasion. From the day my husband and I started getting vaccines and medications here (off/on) six years ago, the entire staff have been nothing short of kind, patient, professional and accommodating no matter who is working. Theirs is an extremely stressful, hectic, mind boggling and often "thankless" job. I sincerely appreciate seeing their warm, friendly smiles every time I go in. In our household, this is truly a friendly and reliable neighborhood pharmacy. A special shout-out to Vivien and April who have been there the longest. You've more than earned your wings!
