Costco Pharmacy

I waited two weeks for a new prescription. They kept telling me they did have the order and after calling multiple times, it turns out they didn't completely check the computer system the first time. I was without my migraine medication for two weeks which cost me to miss deadlines and appointments because I couldn't get out of bed from the pain. They also put the blame on my doctor and we're upset with me because they were busy in store when I called them. I never received communication about my meds being ready despite signing up for alerts. They always blame the customer and make it obvious they hate working there. This has been my experience with the older female clerks. The pharmacists themselves are very professional and knowledgeable. Avoid this place or it can cost you a lot.

I am so glad I switched from CVS. The staff here are so helpful and friendly. Granted most of the CVS staff were good people - but early every other refill was problematic. I mean really problematic where it took multiiple phone and delays. Some of that may have also been my Doctor at Providence. I need this prescription to function. But between Sutter Health and Costco I've yet to have a single problem.

This pharmacy really maintains the highest level in standard of care in delivering timely medication with appropriate communication. No unnecessary hold time, always prompt with updates, delivering medications timely and appropriate communication at all levels. When I had an unfortunate incident while the paediatric clinic did not send over the prescription, Marie helped me understand the process. She communicated with proper updates to pick it up in good time and did not let us suffer due to the clinic’s mistake.

This is the first pharmacy that I haven’t had a problem with my insulin prescription. Marie was a huge amount of help over the phone and provided outstanding service!

Really helps me out with my AED’s. (Anti-epileptic drugs). Other pharmacies treated it like it’s nothing. Critical epilepsy isn’t fun to mess around with! Thank you Costco!
