RRH Urgent Care

I would give this practice 5 stars, except for their unresponsiveness via phone. I have used this service multiple times and have found staff and medical professionals to be excellent, thorough, and caring. I've never had to wait long in the reception area, either, which is much appreciated. BUT when I have tried to reach someone to get lab results, etc., it has taken DAYS to reach someone; I have waited as long as 25 minutes on hold before someone answered the call. I have been promised a return call and never once have received one. Rochester Regional needs to fix this one glaring problem, and they would have a stellar practice.

They are always welcoming, we never have to wait long and doctors are always spot on and very pleasant. Although our kids hate going to the doctors, they love coming here because they enjoy the doctors they see each time. We are always in and out.

All staff was really nice. Everyone in the waiting room were wearing masks (which was really good because covid still is around). There was masks and hand sanitizer if you needed it. Took me quickly considering I was the 6th (that I could tell) to be called in, out of those waiting. Clean place.

I was misdiagnosed with HERPES here just a few days ago at this location by a male provider. DO NOT GO HERE. He did no herpes testing, bloodwork, smears, or anything before sending me off with valacyclovir, which made me sick within the same day and lead to fainting and stomach pain afterwards. I don't think I have ever been so stressed out and confused in my life. Earlier this week, I went to this location (which I had not had many notable issues with before) and I wanted to be seen over what seemed like a tiny cut on my "down there" .. most likely resulting from a shaving knick. Recently went in after being at the end stages of having influenza because I had been suffering for days with gastrointestinal issues, fever, diarrhea, no sleep, couldn't eat anything, just misery. First of all, the provider I saw had awful bedside manners. If somebody is coming in because they are sick, you should be caring and compassionate as a doctor and maybe just as a decent human being. After I was seen and "looked over" (barely), I told the doctor I wanted to be tested for c diff. I had just stopped antibiotics a week ago, and I was showing all of the symptoms of having it.
