RRH Edna Tina Wilson Living Center

This facility over all is well rounded. Much to do for residents, caring staff, an administrator that cares about staff and employees. No nursing home is perfect but what makes this home great is they strive each and everyday to become better then the previous day. When issues arise they work on finding out cause and building a solution.

Edna Tina Wilson is a very warming and welcoming place. Staff is always very friendly, and takes great care of their residents in a promt matter. They also make a strive by keeping family informed and up to date with their family member’s care.

My mom has to go there after being admitted to RGH. Has dementia and could not stay on her own . My advice, find a different nursing home. Total lack of communication and regard for patients’ well-being. They wanted to move a person with dementia to a new unit for space. We asked not to but they found a way around it saying my mom was inappropriate towards a male. Blame her on losing her heart monitor which hasn’t been installed since she was admitted. Her heart doctor had to call. Terrible facility. They don’t respond to emails or phone calls. We are filing a report with the appropriate government officials.

While there are some caring individuals in this facility the vast majority could care less. It is very poorly managed which results in uncaring staff and elders who receive poor treatment. Mealtime is a disaster with aids standing around talking or on their phones rather than serving elders. Forget about multitasking, these people can’t do a single one. Well, I’m sure they could but with management that holds no one accountable, why would they. Doctors orders regarding meal portions were constantly ignored and when challenged on the the staff would lie. God forbid that an elder has dementia as they’ll treat them awfully and talk about them within earshot. They do an extremely poor (deliberately so) job of documenting, to cover themselves and to make it difficult to get the car that

Grandmother was here for rehab. The eating area wasn't clean, tables were all sticky, the residents who can't help themselves stay in bed, unless a family member gets a staff member to get their love one up & dress for the day. Glad to have gotten her out of there.
