Rochester General Hospital

I accompanied my brother and his wife yesterday while he had his aortic valve replaced. Each individual we encountered was so helpful and compassionate. I'm from out of state and my sister in law is disabled making walking difficult. The cafeteria staff were such a blessing and also random workers who didn't just say go here but took the time to show us the way. In a world where people are quick to stay to themselves I must say Rochester General your leadership skills hit the mark with consumers. Doctors and nurses were fabulous. May God continue to bless the work you do in your community.

I thought maybe the ratings were poor because Who gives high ratings to a hospital? But no, it’s really bad. Waiting for hours in a dark room, not fully cleaned, and still no doctor assigned. I’m sure it’s fine if you’re dying. Don’t come to ER unless you can actively and loudly bleed, cry, or vomit to get treatment.

This is for the RN, Jessica, in the Emergency department. Jessica took care of my dad who had a big scare the other night. I am over 1,000 miles away and being so far from your aging parents is very hard. My mom told me how wonderful Jessica was. She was so thankful. I am thankful as well. I hope that this somehow reaches her. The nurses and doctors and all the other staff in Emergency deal with so much. I cannot imagine what they see and deal with day in and day out. Thank you all so much and a big thanks to Jessica for being a help to my dad and mom.

Horrible place to go. Was called a lier for the miscarriage I was experiencing which was proved true by my doctor with a simple blood test, which they wouldnt even do. The technician called me stupid, threw my phone, called me "you people" and completely humiliated me during my exam. Not to add yelling at me that I was to fat to catch while I was actively fainting. I will never go there again. So If you like respect and to be treated like a decent human being I would not recommend going to this hospital.

My Doctor is great the SICU was a mess and many treated me horribly the entire time. Having brain surgery and cancer and they treated me like a child and wouldn’t control any of my pain let alone talk and listen to me. Not all of them but a few In Particular Don’t like there job apparently And take it out on the patients. Also my bell don’t work and I can mention some of the details that I was left in because no one came to help me and I couldn’t get out of bed. Never going back. Second time like this.
