Rite Aid Pharmacy

I was just at Urgent Care because I was wheezing and having asthma issues. They sent over my new inhaler and steroid to rite aid. I showed up at 5:55 because I received a text that they needed my updated insurance. I walk in and their pharmacy was closed. The pharmacist was still in the back and I tried to talk to him when he came out from the back and said “urgent care just sent over an inhaler..” as I was talking this pharmacist just kept sprinting by me and wouldn’t even stop to talk to me. I was chasing him down the store as I’m wheezing. He said we never got your script can’t help you we are closed. They closed 5 minutes early and texted me so they got the script. He lied and just wanted to get out. That pharmacist is a disgrace to the field. I had to go back to urgent care and ask if

Don't go here for pharmacy. Waited 5 min for someone to help me (no line). Was looking for info on Continuous Glucose Monitor. Tech did not know what it was. I asked do you carry them, she said she did not know. I had to ask again yes or no. Referred me to Pharmacist he was too busy to answer. I waited a few minutes and left. Ongoing issues with the pharmacy and dealt with extremely rude and unprofessional staff time and time again. If they don't want the business tell me up front and don't waste my time.

They would not sell me insulin syringes as if I am some type of addict or something. I'm sure my brown skin didn't help. How absolutely absurd! They will NEVER get my business again. I went across the street to Walgreens and the pharmacist got them for me without an issue.

Failed to order the correct prescription, in line through the drive-through because I have a viral infection that will get everyone in the store sick. But pharmacist insisted instead of having a two minute conversation with me in the window that I should come inside and risk getting everybody else sick because he didn’t wanna have a two minute conversation with me. The most awful service ever Go anywhere else this pharmacy sucks!

Whoever the pharmacist was today..I pray for you..I pray you never are put in a position where you need life saving medication for you or your loved one. My son has severe epilepsy and has been dependent on these medications to save his life since birth. Shame on you for being so cold and heartless when I asked you why the insurance was denying this yet again. There’s no cost to save my child’s life and I’m glad I was able to pay out of pocket for the medication today but it’s quite terrible that you would not even offer to help me figure out how to get it for him when I told you he was already out.
