Animal Kingdom Veterinary Hospital

I have been coming to Dr. Rupert since 2011 when we got our first dog, a Mastiff. The reason I chose this office is because they are knowledgeable on large dogs, but they are knowledgeable on animals of all sizes. She and her staff took excellent care of our Mastiff, including when we had to say goodbye to her. Since then, we have had 2 more dogs, and they take excellent care of them. They are always kind, knowledgeable, and can explain things easily to me.

We had a really difficult time finding a vet that would accept birds and thankfully Animal Kingdom was there to help take care of our four feathered friends! I'm not really sure where all the negative reviews came from, whether they're being confused for a different vet on Grand Island or not or some other reason. We've been treated with nothing but kindness with prices I would expect from a specialty/exotic vet. Dr. Rupert and her staff take the time to listen, discuss, and treat your pets with knowledge and care. They remember us by name as well as all of our birds, making them really feel like a neighborhood kind of place. We've taken our little troublemakers in for annual checkups as well as injuries and every time has been a great experience and I leave feeling listened to and well

Last year a bearded dragon I had just rescued ended up getting extremely sick and was quite literally a step away from death. I called 7 different vet hospitals, some emergency, some not and I was turned away by every single one for multiple reasons. I finally found animal kingdom on google, gave them a call, and they got me in within the hour. Dr. Rupert and her staff were so kind to me (who was an emotional wreck over my dragon) and to My dragon Ollie. They were so gentle with him and worked quickly to figure out what was wrong with him. They sent us home with fluids, and antibiotics and I’m happy to report Ollie is as happy and healthy as he could be now! I now take my kitten to them and they have been amazing with him as well! Have only been there once so far, but had a good experience. Was able to get an appointment relatively quickly. Only had to sit in the waiting room about 5 mins once arrived. And They seemed to care about my cat. No complaints.

Our bearded dragon had prolapse bowel. They took such great care of her. She is doing awesome. I called in the morning and had an appointment a few hours later. I would highly recommend them.
