Publix Pharmacy at Southgate Shopping Center

My family and I transferred our prescriptions here from Walgreens. We've used Walgreens for over 20 years, but here lately they've been shorted staffed so filling our prescriptions on time has been a hassle. Our experience with Publix pharmacy has been top tier, and has exceeded our expectations. It has been easy in and out picking up our prescriptions. They're ready when we request them, and if not it's generally only a day or two waiting for the meds to come in. We've always trusted Publix for our shopping needs, and I'm glad to be a pharmacy customer as well!! Thank you!!

Omg! I just want to give a huge shout-out to Mickey in this pharmacy. She has always been so patient and kind to me helping me with all my prescriptions. She always bends back and try's to help with anything she can. I just want to say thank you Mickey and the rest of the pharmacy they are all so sweet and always put a smile on my face!

My husband is a diabetic. We transfered his prescriptions here from the northern lake wales store at shoppers on the ridge because it was closer to home. We transferred his meds back after two months. They gave us warm unrefrigeratored insulin twice. When I asked why they didn't just leave it in the fridge until we get there. The pharmacist said that's just how we do it. It is dangerous and I believe illegal to sell insulin you have not properly stored. I will be reporting them to the pharmacy oversight group.

Several issues with this pharmacy. Save your time and go somewhere else. They delete prescription refill request when submitting from the app. They lie and tell you they will have prescriptions ready at a specific time and then tell you they were too busy, it'll be another 24-48 hrs. Thankfully, I called Walmart and they were happy to call and get the prescription info and fill within 2 hrs.

Staff is always very helpful even when they are overwhelmed and short staffed
