Our pediatrician is great at this office. No complaints about her. But everybody else, from the reception staff, to the nurses, are all incredibly condescending and disrespectful to us. They pressure you into certain vaccines that aren’t right or healthy for MY child, and when you tell them you don’t want that specific vaccine, they make you feel like a bad parent. Sorry. I don’t want my infant to have a flu vaccine quite yet. They used to call in thrush medicine for my baby all the time, because they know he gets thrush a lot. We call the office, tell them about the thrush, they call it in, and we pick it up at Dayton Children’s Pharmacy. Today I tried to do that, and she claimed there was no record of them ever doing that at “this office”. The last three times they’ve done it. She said

The people at this location are such a fantastic team. I know that I can always count on them to help with any issues and concerns. They follow up sick appointments with a call to see how your little one is doing. I'm happy that I found them 6 yeas ago, when I had a newborn. He will keep seeing Dr. Sidwell for as long as possible.

I feel the need to write a review since there are many negative comments regarding this practice. I have been bringing my offspring to this practice since before the move while the office was still on Wenger and Dr. Pelsor was the head Physician. I have never encountered a rude front office person or nurse. I'm usually able to schedule a quick appt and have never been pushed off when dealing with a sick child. I had to go to the Huber office once, but I was thankful for the option since a Doctor had to call off sick. I'm sorry the experience has not been great for all children and parents, but this is not a bad place by any means. I hope new patients will at least have a consultation with the office when considering medical care for their offspring.

After 14 years and 4 kids …we were given a letter in the mail saying they would no longer be seeing my kids. Dr. Dukeman was awesome and unfortunately left. To are understanding another doctor could take us, but I guess not. How does a doctors office just do that? It’s not our fault our current doctor left.

I just want to start by saying that we enjoyed both of the doctors that we saw - Dr. Dukeman first and then Dr. Harper after Dr. Dukeman relocated. That being said, I had multiple incidents where both the front desk and whoever answers the phone were rude and unhelpful. There is virtually no availability here. I called this morning to see if my 6 month old (established patient) could be seen since she is sick and was told there was no availability (this issue is consistent with appointments in general - she couldn’t be seen for her 6 month appointment until she was over 7 months because they have no available appointments on ANY day).
