Pineville Family Dentistry

Like many people, I have an extreme fear of going to the dentist. I can honestly say I am not afraid to go to Dr Babb. He’s so compassionate and patient. He has literally never hurt me. He is very good at giving the shots. He has also extracted teeth for me with no pain. But most importantly, he kept me from having to get dentures. I told him I was horrified at the thought of dentures.So he made me two absolutely perfectly fitting partials. Several other dentists told me that I had lost so many teeth I HAD to have dentures. I am so relieved.Additionally, all of his staff is superb. So caring, polite, and respectful. If you want a doctor and staff that will Make you feel safe and secure, this is the place.

Excellent Dentist. The Dental hygienist was amazing and knowledgeable. My one complaint. The girl assisting Dr Troy was rude and reckless. Unorganized. I went for a hurting sensitive tooth. This clearly depressed assistant sprayed cold water directly onto my tooth. So my pleasant experience turned miserable. I was in so much pain before they numbed me up. Now I had just got my teeth clean and the hygienist was so skilled as to not even touch that tooth as she cleaned. His assistant acted as though she didn't want to be there and then asked me if I was taking any pain pills. If I have to return I hope they have better help cause she wasn't it. You know why I'm here why would spray that damn cold as water on my tooth. No apologies or concern.

I researched and chose PFD with the mindset of avoiding negative reviews and determining whether Dr. Babb could become my new Dentist, for myself! Today was my 3rd visit over the past year to attend to tooth needs and a cleaning. I have never received anything but respect and very friendly, customer service oriented interaction with all the staff and Dr. Babb. Yes, his time can be limited due to the amount of patients in-house but why would you not expect that to sometimes be the case. God is apparently bringing customers to someone deserving of them!

He doesn't do the things my son needs, wisdom teeth pulled, root canals. Visit was $225 for X-ray. Waste of my money.

Only giving a 2 rating because past experiences have been okay. However, I’m not too pleased with the experience I had today with the 2 members of the staff. It should not be a difficult process to receive a doctor’s excuse. However, for my husband it has been a multi day process. I was told I would receive an email with an update of excuse. However didn’t receive that today either. As a family we will not choose this office again for future needs. I have never had such a negative experience at a dentist office before. This disappointing experience was not even attempted to be made right or even an apology for the poor experience with a blurb of how they strive for quality patient service. Very disappointed.
