I transitioned to this doctor after my doctor retired. The visit was rushed. I did not feel validated at all. Dr. Wagner came across as arrogant/cocky. I did not feel heard during my appointment. Dr. Wagner could use some lessons in compassion and being personable. I do believe he is experienced and could have performed my surgery, but I couldn’t handle his personality. I have since changed doctors and I now feel comfortable and heard!!

Dr Wagner was terrific. His team insisted on super sterile prep before surgery, and his team is attentive to details. I have received multiple follow up calls to check on healing.

Dr Wagner treated me very professionally. He Answered all my concerns about my surgery. Surgery was great and recovery was not bad at all. At 5 weeks I feel fantastic. I will highly recommend Dr Wagner to friends and family..

I suffered from severe sciatica pain for over 8 months. Physical therapy, medication, and steroid injections didn’t help, and my symptoms only got worse, to the point where I was becoming incapacitated. I was referred to Dr Wagner, who recommended I have surgery (laminectomy) to relieve the compression on the sciatic nerve. Using models and my MRI images he showed me exactly where and how the surgery would be performed and answered all my questions. I felt I was in very capable hands having Dr Wagner perform the surgery, which was done on 9/7/22. As soon as I woke up in recovery I had immediate relief from the severe nerve pain down my legs. I now have my life back! I highly recommend Dr Wagner to anyone needing lumbar spine surgery

Initial visit good; second visit awful for almost every reason. No empathy whatsoever unless surgery involved. I'm a surgeon, I'm a surgeon! Wow. There are other paths to wellness to try before surgery and a good doctor would discuss all options with you. Basically just walked out of visit; couldn't believe it.
