Bride Brook Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

I spent two and a half weeks at this facility after a bad fall down a flight of 17 stairs. These professionals are top notch, caring and very attentive to the individuals needs. I appreciate the care from the therapist, nurses, aids and all staff. I felt so well care for and made many friends as I was recuperating for my fall. I was vacationing in Connecticut from Tennessee when this tragedy occurred. I was alone in a different state and they made me feel so welcomed and did all they could to ease my anxiety. I will always be grateful for their care.

Though the facility was rated 5 stars on the government website, after comparing to a Marlboro Rehab Center, the staff was not as engaged, some of the nurses were not good about taking suggestions about skin care. My mother in laws bottom became Increasingly reddened despite us buying the protection for her bottom, that they were resistant to using, despite taking 10 seconds to put them on. The whole time we were there , the focus was on covered days not what the patient needed. When my mother in law was earlier in Marlboro Rehab, not once was covered days brought up, just her care. 3 stars seems fair as some of the staff was good, however there was always someone new seeing her for OT and PT. My aunt had a great rehab stay there years ago. More recently, from rehab to long term care and eventually to end of life, the Bridebrook staff ensured my father was well taken care of. Any request I had, they listened to and I was fully informed of his status and what his day looked like throughout the year he was there. Thank you all very much for your care and compassion.

I have been in many nursing homes and I have to say that Bride Brook rates among the best. It is always clean, the nursing staff is friendly and very efficient. Definitely look into this nursing home if you are in the need for one. When my sister was being admitted the doctors and nursing staff met with all her children and all who wanted to be in the meeting to discuss my sister’s care and what to expect from rehabilitation. They were very open and easy to talk with and listened to all our needs and expectations.

During my visit, Darien was an outstanding nurse. His attention to detail was un matched. I have never felt so confident in the care my loved one is receiving!
