Penn Primary Care Limerick

I don't understand the low rating for Penn Primary Care. For starters, they are easy to reach on the phone and if the wait will be long, you have the option for them to call you back--and they always do. They are always attentive and helpful on the phone as well. The front office staff are friendly and always seem happy to see their patients. The medical assistants are competent and kind. As for the providers, I haven't met one I didn't like. Dr. McElrone is my doctor for basic stuff like physicals and I genuinely like her. Two of my family members see Sarah Keeley and she is absolutely fabulous with their more complicated health issues. She is calm, a great listener, and very thorough. This practice is exactly what I need from primary care:-)

I wish 0 stars was possible. Do not under any circumstances go to this office. It's impossible to make an appointment when you're sick. You will never get to speak to someone at the office. You get directed to a call center and they will make you leave a message to maybe be called back later in the day. Find an office where you can actually talk to a human being who is able to make appointments.

I have been a patient here over 20 years and have had a few different physicians. I have always received good care. I have always been satisfied. I use the patient portal and have decent results. When I need to talk to the office, I find it best to call before 10am. Dr. Beauparlant attends every concern I have.

Office/Dr communications are solidly horrid even using the “portal” they insist on pushing use of. This is the fourth time having medication renewal issues due to the lack of basic communications being between the portal/dr/office staff. If there’s a 5th incident I’m changing practices. Edit: Just realized now that they yet again screwed up the prescription while it was being fixed from the LAST screw up. Edit #2: after 48 hours of waiting for a call back to schedule a simple appointment I was forced to call again. Advised I am now changing practices at this point and they may be in violation of law(amazingly, when I mentioned this to them that an “appointment “ opened up for tomorrow yet the previous call stated there were zero appointments available until after the 22nd). This place makes it impossible to get an appointment. Try to get a physical with blood work you have to go in to see the doctor first before they schedule your blood work and then you’d have to make another doctors appointment to discuss the results for your blood work. This is ridiculous. I’ll find another doctor thank you very much.
