Penn Gastroenterology Limerick

Was scheduled to have a procedure done and due to an issue with billing, needed to contact the office for an update before having it done. After months of both myself and my insurance not being able to reach them, and after countless calls and being bounced around from line to line, have decided to leave as a patient and go to a different one.

Would have liked to have made an appointment for a colonoscopy here and tried multiple times, but I kept getting bounced around between this office and central scheduling. Apparently, nobody at all of Penn Medicine knows how to schedule an appointment for this facility. Completely absurd. Gave up and went elsewhere.

The classic "If I could leave ZERO stars" I would. Firstly, the doctor herself was kind. But it's not worth what you go through to get there. No professionalism. Debra in scheduling has to be the most rude, spiteful, and virulent woman in Limerick. If you push back, she simply doesnt help, follow the procedure she should, and lies in patient call notes causing lapses in care. Penn Medicine should fire her.

Like others who have left reviews, I had a terrible experience recently. I've been going here for years and have been on the same medication for years. I have been trying to get meds refilled for 2 weeks. The pharmacy contacted 2 times. I contacted the refill line and they sent messages 4 times and I also sent 2 portal messages. All were ignored until my last attempt, a portal message to which I stated the above and that I was now out of medication. I got a response with in a half hour that my refill was denied with no reason at all. I called and the woman looked in my chart and there was no reason stated. I decided to drive over to the office. The receptionist took my info and went back to the nurse who wouldnt even come out and talk to me to explain why she had denied my refill. The rec

Had my first visit, scheduling was easy, the front desk was professional and friendly, my Dr, Jenee was very knowledgeable and understanding, couldn't ask for more!
