Pelham Animal Hospital

I had a frustrating experience at Pelham Animal Hospital. When I first called to ask about the cost of spaying my puppy, I was given an estimate that seemed reasonable and in line with other clinics. However, when I came in for the pre-op blood work (before even scheduling the surgery), the estimate suddenly doubled. When I asked why the price had changed so much, the staff responded with “I don’t understand your question,” which felt rude and dismissive. I wish there had been more transparency and better communication.

Our cat had a sudden seizure. Dr Katz and the team welcomed us even when it was close to their closing hours, showed us empathy and compassion, handled and continues to handle our cat with the highest care, gives us clear explanations for all medical opinions, and guides us with supreme competency and professionalism. It’s a scary time for our furry pet but honestly Dr Katz, Pelham Animal Hospital, and their emergency after hours services help make us feel that we can be the strong cat parents we want to be for our furry pet.

My mom is always bringing our dog, Jovi, to the Pelham Animal Hospital. Well, actually, it feels like Jovi is the one bringing my mom there every time she takes him out for a walk! Every time he has a visit with Dr. Katz, Jovi is overjoyed to see him and the rest of the staff. He absolutely loves Dr. Katz!!

I have always had a positive experience at Pelham animal hospital. I take all of my pets here - two cats and two pugs :) and we love Dr. Katz. 100% recommend Pelham animal 🩵

Pelham Animal hospital has seriously declined. The professional ism is no longer there. The front desk staff girl looked half asleep,disengaged,and completely uninterested in helping clients. The rest of the staff appeared sloppy and disorganized,which does not inspire confidence when your trusting people with your pets health. The overall atmosphere felt careless and poorly managed. This is not the standard I expect from a place caring for my pet. I will not be returning. Hi you know who I am I don't understand why you would say you can't find me.
