Typically have a great experience with this office but our last visit left much to be desired. I wanted to talk to my baby’s doctor about a milk sensitivity that was causing digestion issues. I was told because it was a single concern, not a well visit I had to make a same day appointment, not a regular appointment. They also categorize these appointments as sick appointments. Upon arrival/check in, I was told my daughter had to sit in the sick area. I thought this was a mistake and I stated my child was not sick and explained why she was there. The receptionist at the sick area barely listened and rudely responded “we don’t know what’s causing her issue so she needs to be in the sick area” You want to put a perfectly healthy child in an area with sick children because of how you all cate

My 5 year has been coughing non stop and my husband tried taking her in today to get looked at. We didn’t make an appointment cause we thought they accept walk ins. They go in, there’s no one in the sick lobby or regular patient lobby. The receptionist were in there when we came in. However they tell us they do not accept walk ins and that they can come back after 1:15 after their lunch break. That would have been fine but the attitude that was given when saying was rude and disrespectful

Today 2/5/25, my son is having high fever of 104 plus. This office refused to see my son because we came late and became inconvenient for them. The entire doctor team in this Wheaton location should feel ashamed of yourself. I assume you put on your white blouse to help the sick kids feel better, instead of sending your staff Stephanie out to ask us come back after 2.5 hours because the entire “doctor team” is having a “meeting” and “lunch break”. Your meeting had to be extremely important so that you denied seeing a sick kid. If my kid was at a normal wellness check up, and we were late, we would have own our mistake and say apology and come back. But my son was very sick with high fever, taking 5-10 minutes of one doctor of “the entire doctor team” to see him seems too much to ask for

The experience was as expected. However, what I do not like is the option of giving the kids lollipops that has no nutritional value. So, I would like to recommend the Yum Earth organic (Vitamin C Pops). This can be found at the Whole Food Store and maybe online somewhere.

I love the docs there. Dr. Hill is great! But the frontdesks are always rude feel like they're not happy to be there. Also, they need to change their grace period if patients are running late especially with sick children. I was like 10 mins late to my appointment with my child who had diarrhea. They told me I need to reschedule to 11 am when the appointment was at 9:30. PLEASE CHANGE THIS! you can't guarantee anything with a sick child. There's should be different policies for this.
