My PCD (primary care doctor) here, Is Wayne Leavitt and he’s great. He does his job very well, hower, I came here over the summer because I was having UTI symptoms. So bad to the point I was throwing up and thought my appendix had burst. I was evaluated by Dr. Smith who told me I was fine and it was just a stomach bug and that I just needed to keep taking advil. An hour later I ended up at Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital. It is very important to me that I remain healthy, but because of how Dr. Smith diagnosed me, I felt very unheard and unseen. Reason as to why I gave 3 stars.

We’ve been coming to this office for 14 years and the provider we used to see was fantastic. Unfortunately since she retired we had to start seeing Dr. Smith and we have not been happy at this office since. She infantilizes my teenage son and daughter, and is patronizing to my husband and I. She brushes off any and all concerns as unimportant and every visit feels adversarial and unproductive. My son refused a portion of the exam that he was uncomfortable with and Dr. Smith threatened that if he didn’t do it she wouldn’t give him the physical form so that he couldn’t play sports this year or attend school. Two stars because the wait times generally aren’t very long and there is fair availability for sick visits. Edit to add: we were clearly pursuing establishing care elsewhere, but receiv

This practice prioritizes vaccine adherence over the well-being of children. They disregard concerns about the actual health of children, focusing solely on adhering to the vaccine schedule. We have visited this practice for sick visits on multiple occasions, only to be advised that the child’s symptoms are likely viral and will resolve on their own. However, we have subsequently taken our children to urgent care or the emergency room, where we have discovered that they have contracted double ear infections or other conditions that necessitate prescription medication. During one visit for severe cold symptoms, we believed our son required a breathing treatment. It was dismissed as viral and, as usual, they inquired if we wanted to administer his vaccine ahead of schedule. Hours later, we

We want a doctor close by and no other pediatric office was accepting new patients, so we settled here. The office is clean, and the dr we met with is kind, however the front desk staff is not very friendly. Every time I’ve had to call to move records over, get established, schedule appointments, ask questions I feel rushed. They behave professionally, but they don’t seem to truly care about your family and your problems, they just want to get in and get out for the night is how it feels. I wish a good office like this had better manners at the front desk. That’s the face of your business. Disappointing.

The practice itself is great. The nurse practitioner we were seeing was great. She was very attentive and helpful. Dr saarie is terrible. Both my sons are his patients, my older son takes medicine for adhd. One of them being a sedative to help sleep, saarie was suppose to prescribe this medication until we could get into a psychiatric Dr, he decide one day to just completely stop prescribing it with no alternative at all so now my 7 year old gets no sleep. He needs that medicine or an alternative sedative. On top of the I had an appt for my newborn today, to get his 6 month shots, the office has a 15 minute grace period on arrival time. We showed up 10 minutes late and saarie wouldn’t see the baby. There was 1 family in the waiting room. Long story short don’t see Dr saarie.
