Drakos Urgent Care

The nurse and provider were exceptionally friendly and kind to my 10 year old daughter who wasn't feeling well. They really lightened the mood in a positive way for her while in the office, which is so helpful when you are feeling crummy! The nurse went out of her way to answer my questions and complimented my daughter numerous times and was so sweet! The provider who came in was just as friendly, kind, and personable as well as very detailed when explaining her professional opinion. This was our first experience here and I would absolutely recommend and say 10/10 service. Thank you ladies so much!!

I visited Drakos on West Genesee Street in Camillus on the evening of 12/22 with a loved one. I hadn’t made an online appointment, as I didn’t realize that was an option, so I initially expected a long wait. Even though the estimated wait time was about an hour and a half, they brought my loved one back within 15 minutes, which I truly appreciated. Now that I know online appointments are available, I would definitely recommend scheduling ahead. The facility was extremely clean and spacious, both in the waiting area and in the exam rooms. Once we were called back, everything moved smoothly. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, patient, and genuinely attentive. I was very pleased with my whole experience. The clinic was clean. Front desk and clinical staff were kind and courteous. My medical provider was quick and efficient. Great customer service! If I need an urgent care again, I will definitely return to Drakos.

My daughter was seen for a horrible migraine. The staff were so kind and understanding. They dimmed the lights and softened their voices when communicating with her. She was given IV meds/fluids in a quiet comfortable room. A reclining chair and a nice warm blanket were an unexpected bonus for a person who is struggling with pain. I have frequented the other urgent care in Camillus. I will never go back there. The kindness and compassion that my daughter was shown is something that I'll remember, the next time my family needs urgent care attention. 5 stars is not enough for how much I appreciated Drakos for going above and beyond in my daughter's care.

Consumer Beware: This was my first time trying to use Drakos Urgent Care. I made an appt. and filled out all the paperwork electronically, which all went well. When I went to check in they told me I have a $250.00 deductible, but only had to pay $100.00 before just my copay can kick in. (My insurance is listed as one they accept. Excellus BCBS with the County.) I have never had to pay a deductible at any other Urgent Care. Just my copay for the visit. When asked why, they had no straight answer why they charge this and other Urgent Cares don't. So, I asked if I just need to submit that cost to my insurance company for reimbursement. I was told I could try but they most likely won't give me the $100.00 back. I left and went to Wellnow and received my excellent care there. So, consumer bewar
