The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy

I have been consistently impressed by the level of service at this pharmacy. They distinguish themselves through their dedication to patient advocacy, often working directly with insurance companies to resolve issues on the patient's behalf. Their ability to manage complex medication schedules and ensure everything is ready in a single visit is a testament to their operational efficiency. They truly prioritize the health and well-being of their clients above all else.

They are having an IT problem where they can’t process payment over the phone. Instead of telling me that, they took my cc info (twice) over the phone and let my prescription sit for 5 days. It would have been nice if they could have let me know right away to use another pharmacy. Instead I was waiting for my prescription in the mail like an idiot.

Our family uses this pharmacy for all prescriptions and love its proximity to our doctor offices in Township 5. Mike is so thoughtful and takes the time needed with customers to get them well and on their way without unnecessary waiting. It is great to have a family-owned pharmacy to support locally without there being any added inconvenience. We always feel extra cared for and that they really value our business. They have everything you need from a big brand pharmacy, but it feels so personable and warm, which to me is important when you’re feeling under the weather or just need to run errands. I love the thoughtful cards, books and candles. The whole store is edited in a way to provide exactly what you need without all the extra junk you see in big brand stores. It’s a really good local

All our local shops closed down and no one else can mix our special needs pups meds but this medicine shop. They actually delivered her 1st prescription with them an 84 mile round trip.

My first time using this pharmacy because I required a special compound cream that most other pharmacies won't mix. I opened the jar to use it for the first time yesterday evening and found what I'm assuming is a cat (or some sort of other animal) hair in my brand new jar of medicine. Called & spoke with a pharmacy tech to make them aware of the issue and his response was, "well it's a topical cream that you aren't ingesting so it shouldn't affect the efficacy of the medicine." - UM?? I'm sorry. This is unsanitary and not acceptable. Shortly after, spoke with a very nice gentleman named Mike who agreed that this wasn't acceptable, nor was his answer to me, and offered to have the script delivered to my office as I do not have time to return the old one/pick the new one up today.
