Palliative Care Services

We visited Palliative Care at Linden Oaks for help with day-to-day care of my mother. We were told that because my mother was not on Medicaid that there was most likely no services the doctor could provide for her. A request to home services was placed and then denied, but no follow-up with the family was provided. Two months passed and we sill had no equipment in the home to help with everyday care. Do understand before visiting with palliative care services through Rochester Regional Health that Medicare does cover much of the cost for equipment you may need in your home to make caregiving less of a challenge.
