Where I live I have the choice to go to a few different hospitals that are about the same distance. I chose here every time. The doctors and nurses are kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I just want to thank everyone involved in my care over the years! THANK YOU! I’ve been coming here for about 18 years now when I have a problem. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and I really don’t know how many other hospitals can say this but the food is usually GOOD!

Some things never change. Sadly, this facility continuously runs behind. No matter the visit, ER, general admission, labs or X-rays. They are always behind and nobody seems to care? It would be in everyone’s best interest if they simply converted over to a county hospital and allow a real medical facility to open in Palastine. Update to yesterday’s review. As you can see, Palastine responded offering me to call and discuss my concerns. When I called the number they provided (see below no extension offered), it asked me for an extension? Radiology Review...Very pleasant. Each year I have had no problems with radiology. The person that works there is so very polite, comforting and reassuring.

The day crew was absolutely amazing today! I felt so comfortable and actually happy to be there. My nurse Liz and student Kendall made me feel like top priority the whole time I was there! Thank you to everyone there today 💕

I was involved in a four-wheeler accident and went to the hospital to be evaluated. At the time of discharge, I was informed that I had a sprained shoulder and a chest contusion. Two weeks later, I received a letter stating that a thyroid nodule had been identified, which prompted me to request a copy of the CT report to review the size of the nodule. While reviewing the report, I discovered that it documented a posterior dislocation of the medial clavicle from the sternoclavicular joint—an injury that typically requires surgical intervention. This finding was clearly stated multiple times throughout the report. However, this diagnosis was never communicated to me, nor was it included in my discharge paperwork.
