Optum Radiology - Lyndhurst

Optum billing department. I got the service from this location and they bill the insurance incorrectly and when you try to contact the billing dept from the invoice they sent, you cannot reach anyone there. We call over like 10 times between myself and my insurance and every option on the # listed went straight to voicemail mail and no one even return the call even when u leave voicemail. They don’t get the updates you left in the voicemail But some how they do know to sent you multiple statements and call you from a auto dial to get your payment.. I don’t recall running into any billing dept that only have voice mail service and no return calls. I will not use their service again, horrible. Beware of this Optum billing department.

This is the worst place for any radiology needs. We had a 2pm appointment and they kept us waiting for a couple of hours. The staff is extremely rude and treat you like junk. There are so many bad reviews about this place but the management doesn't care for the patients. Please avoid this place if you can.

The technicians are professional in every way and I haven't had any issues with their people in the frontdesk. However, their billing system is the worst I ever seen. For a month after my procedure, I needed to make calls to correct an incorrect amount charge for my insurance copayment. Afterwards, when I tried make the correct amount through their website and by phone, their billing department could not find my account # 451129014. They suggested to pay in the facility, what I did taking time from work. Finally, after a week, I called again their billing dept. to verify it and I was told that they cannot seen my payment. Based in my experience, I won't be using their service never again and I won't recommend it to anyone.

The technicians are amazing and professional in every way. However, one particular front desk staff literally ran me off the phone with her rudeness and lack of professionalism. I felt that every time I inquired about something, pertaining to my upcoming appointment, I was receiving a sigh on the other end of the receiver, alongside much, unnecessary attitude. I feel this location will be truly worthwhile if the front desk staff were better trained in communicating with the patients.

I have been mis-charged for services and after several months of follow ups they have sent my bill to collections, even after acknowledging it was incorrect. I’ve spoken to numerous staff members, no one can ever connect me with a supervisor. They say the turn around time is 24-48 hours, however they never call me. Staff is rude and it’s evident no one cares. Stay far away from this place unless you want a headache.
